Accurate captions are essential for ensuring your video content is accessible and engaging for all viewers. The Caption Editor lets you easily review, edit, and fine-tune your VTT caption files to ensure they match your video content perfectly. Here’s how to use it!
Why Use the Caption Editor?
Even the best auto-generated captions can sometimes contain misspellings or simply misinterpretate what is being said. The Caption Editor gives you complete control over your captions, allowing you to refine each line and make sure it accurately reflects your video content. This helps enhance viewer comprehension and ensures that every detail is clear and accessible.
Beta Release: The Caption Editor is currently in a beta release and is limited to caption files auto-generated via AI SnapScribe. Stay tuned for future updates, enhancements and the ability to edit your existing (standard) caption files!

Correct Misspellings or Transcription Errors: Scroll through each caption and edit any misspelled or incorrectly transcribed words. You can combine lines and delete whole sections, as needed.Save Your Changes
Once you’ve finished making edits, select Save. Please note that these changes are instant and will appear wherever the video with captions is displayed.
Important: Changes cannot be reverted after saving, so be sure to double-check your edits before finalizing.
Using the Caption Editor allows you to take full control over your captions, ensuring they’re polished and perfectly aligned with your video content. Enjoy the flexibility of making your captions just right for any audience!
