What is an API?
An application programming interface (API) is a particular set of rules and specifications that a software program can follow to access and make use of the services and resources provided by another particular software program that implements that API. It serves as an interface between different software programs and facilitates their interaction; similar to the way the user interface facilitates interaction between humans and computers.

LightSpeed VT is integrated with Zapier, where you can leverage dozens of data points within LSVT and connect them to over 1,000 other web applications without any programming. With just a few credentials to cut and paste, and pull down menus to map fields from one application to another, this integration can be done instantaneously.
Once you sign in to LSVT, go to the “Super User Dashboard” and select “105 Integration Management” and this will take you to the tools and features to user the API with Zapier. Go to the “API Settings” and grab your “Zapier Credentials” then go to Zapier and look for LightSpeed VT in their list of supported apps, and start integrating LSVT with 1,000+ other applications immediately.
