Tracking Chargify Transactions in External Applications

Chargify has the option to use Zapier to track subscribers who purchased your content in another application or CRM. We recommend using a tool like Zapier to create this connection.

Using Zapier, create a new Zap and choose Chargify as the trigger application.

Next, you will need to choose the action that triggers the Zap, for this choose ‘New Subscription’.

You will then need to connect your Zapier account to Chargify. You will need the URL for your Chargify account as well as the API key (found in the Chargify Integration settings).

This will then load the last few transactions, here are the fields that can be used in the ‘Action’ section of your Zap.

  • Customer First Name
  • Customer Last Name
  • Customer Email
  • Customer Phone
  • Customer Organization
  • Customer Address
  • Customer City
  • Customer State
  • Customer Zip
  • Customer ID
  • Product Family Name
  • Product Name
  • Product ID
  • Product Price (Price before coupon)
  • Signup Revenue
  • Total Revenue in Dollars
  • ID (Subscription ID)
  • Created At (Date/Time)
  • As well as other fields

Once the action is set up, this information will be sent to your application.
