VT2Go Configuration

Getting Started

In order to enable VT2GO, first navigate to the Super User Dashboard and open 101 – System Management, and then select the VT2GO Profile Tab

On this page, there are several optional fields to fill in:

• Profile Name – This will be displayed in the app on the ‘My Accounts’ screen.
• Description – The Description will be displayed below the Profile name on the ‘My Accounts’ screen.
• Profile Image – This should be 500×200, or you can use our example one here: http://videos.lightspeedvt.com/video_files/acme/tc-hero.jpg
• Google Analytics Link – Enter GA tracking if you utilize it
• Help/Support Content – Here you can advise users how to get help if they run into any issues.
• Help/Support Phone – Enter your Support number if you have one
• Help/Support Email – Enter your Support email if you have one
• Max File Download – this can be set to 1-20 files or Unlimited. Note: The download is saved within the App itself – no video or audio files from your System will be directly downloadable to the User’s mobile device. Additionally, the user needs a working login and password to access the downloadable content – so if they are deactivated, they will no longer have access to VT2GO.

The next section is the Category Page

• Top of Categories Image Path – this section is required, however it will only be seen by users if you configure downloadable content. If you are using the App for live content then you can put any placeholder image here – such as re-using this one from earlier: http://videos.lightspeedvt.com/video_files/acme/tc-hero.jpg
• Top of Categories Description – Enter a Description to guide the user – we typically go with “Please select a Category below…”

The next section is the Mobile Menu options. By default We start you out with two menu items – the Main Menu and the Training Center.

• If your App already has VT2GO Downloadable Content configured, then we send the user there by default.
• If you do not have any Downloadable Content, then we will take the User to the Main Menu by default.

You can also add your own custom URL content, and they can be external URLs – simply change the “destination” drop-down to “Custom URL” and enter the link.

The last section is Social Sharing – this is optional – but if you’d like to allow your users to share their experience within the Downloadable Content section of the App, you can enable this section.

Once the user opens a Chapter, they’ll see “share” options at the bottom of the screen and can choose from Facebook, Twitter, Linked in, or other options on their mobile device.

Downloadable Content Configuration Setup

To add downloadable content to your VT2GO App, navigate to Courseware Management and use the reference guide to add images shown below.

Image Size Reference

The Mobile app uses images independent of those that may already exist in your web app.

Profile Image (500×200)

This is found under System Settings, under VT2GO Profile.

Categories Main Image (500×150)

This is found under Create/Edit Category, VT2GO Settings.

Category Individual Image (200×200)

This is found under Create/Edit Category, VT2GO Settings.

Category Large Image (500×150)

This is found under the same Create/Edit Category, VT2GO Settings area. This can be the same image used for the Categories Main Image (They’re the same size.)

Course Image (500×150)

This is found on Create/Edit Course, VT2GO Settings area.

Chapter Image (500×300)

This is found under Create/Edit Chapter, VT2GO Settings.
