By using the captions from your videos, this tool helps you quickly build assessments that reflect the key concepts and information presented in your training.

Whether you need multiple-choice questions, sorting, matching, or fill-in-the-blank, this tool has you covered.

How to Use the AI Question Generator

Follow these simple steps to auto-generate questions based on your video content:

1. Ensure You Have Caption Files
   The AI Question Generator relies on the caption files associated with videos in your Chapter or Course. If your videos don’t have captions, no problem! You can easily generate captions using our AI SnapScribe tool. Learn more here.

2. Locate and Copy Caption URLs
   Find the URLs for each video you want to generate questions for. You can find these URLs within the Media Library. Copy these URLs and save them in a text document for easy reference during the question generation process.

3. Head to Courseware Management
   In Courseware Management, locate the Course you want to add questions to and select Edit. Then, navigate to (or add) the Assessment in the appropriate Chapter. Under the "Questions" section, select the "Generate Questions" button to get started.

4. Follow the Simple 3-Step Process
   A modal will appear to guide you through the next steps:

   • Upload or Add Video URLs: Paste the URLs you saved earlier into the provided field.
   • Choose the Type and Quantity of Questions: Decide what type of questions you want (multiple-choice, sorting, etc.) and how many questions you’d like to generate.
   • Select "Next": Once you’ve made your selections, hit "Next" and let the AI work its magic!

5. Download and Review the Questions
   Once the AI has finished generating questions (this may take a minute or two), you can download the questions as a text file. Review the questions and edit them as needed to fine-tune the assessment for your Learners.

6. Add the Questions to Your Assessment
   When you’re ready, add the reviewed questions to your Assessment within Courseware Management.
