Linked Course banners are a versatile tool for guiding Learners to external resources such as websites, downloadable files, or any other online material. Linked Courses allow you to enhance learning experiences beyond the traditional Course boundaries.

Set Up a Linked Course

  1. Navigate to Create/Edit Courseware, create a new Course, and change the Course Type to Linked Course (Banner).
    • If you are in Legacy Courseware Management and do not see this option, select Show Advanced Options.

  1. Configure the Link Details:

    • URL: Input the link destination (e.g., https://leroys-cafe.com/breakfast/).
    • Call-to-Action Label: Enter a button or link label, such as "View," "Select," or "Download."
    • Target: Decide how the link opens:
      • Current Window: Open the link in the same page.
      • New Window: Opens a fresh tab for the link.
  2. Add a Thumbnail Image and any other relevate details.

  3. Choose the Audience and Locations – Just like a Standard Course, assign the Linked Course to specific Content Roles and/or Locations. This ensures the Course is accessible to the right audience within your Training Center.

  4. Then Publish!

Once configured, your Linked Course will act as a clickable link displayed in your Training Center. Ensure the link works seamlessly and opens as intended.
