Authorize.net Coupon Code Generation

Here are a few simple steps on how to create a coupon code in your VT system for Authorize.net:
Step 1:
Log in to your VT system as an Admin.
Step 2:
Navigate to the 'Super User Dashboard' and select 110 Authorize.net Integration.
Step 3:
Locate the desired product and click the Edit button - refer to the attached screenshot.
Step 4:
Check the 'Use Coupons' box - please refer to the attached screenshot.
Step 5:
Add the coupon code name and discount you would like to apply to it. Please note that coupon code names are case sensitive.
You have the ability to create a coupon with a specific amount discount or percentage discount. The format for the coupon codes should be as follow:
COUPONNAME10|10$
is $10 discountCOUPONNAME20|20%
is 20% discount
Step 6:
After updating the product, scroll to the bottom and click the Update button on the right bottom corner of the screen.
Step 7:
Click the Save and Continue button at the bottom left of the screen.
Step 8:
To add multiple coupons to one product, simply add each additional coupon on a new line without commas.
Authorize.net does not allow creating a subscription with a 100% discount (i.e., $0 transaction amount).
Workarounds:
Charge a Small Amount – Some businesses process a $0.01 or $1 charge to initiate the subscription. Create a coupon code to give 99% discount.
First Cycle Free – Set up the subscription with a first billing cycle of $0 (Trial Period), then charge the next cycle.
