# Use AI to Generate Questions for Your Assessments

Creating assessments just got a whole lot easier! With **AI SnapScribe Question Generation**, you can automatically create high-quality, targeted questions based on your Chapter’s video content—saving you time and ensuring your learners are tested on what really matters.

## How to Use the AI Question Generator

  
    
  

Once you navigate to Courseware Management and create or edit a Chapter, head to the **Assessment Questions** screen and follow these simple steps to generate questions in seconds:

1. **Review Chapter Captions** AI SnapScribe uses caption files from your Chapter’s videos. We’ll automatically detect them for you.

  - To exclude a file, just click **Ignore**
  - Need questions generated in a different language? Or create a final assessment based on multiple Chapter videos? Click **+ Add Captions**
2. **Add Instructions** (Optional) Want to steer the AI? Add a short prompt to guide question creation. *Example:* *“Focus only on sales objections and overcoming techniques.”*
3. **Choose Question Type** Select the format that fits your training:
  - Random (automatically generates a mix of all question types)
  - Multiple Choice
  - Sorting
  - Matching
  - Fill in the Blank
4. **Set Number of Questions** Decide how many questions you want. The default is 3, but you can generate as many as you need.
5. **Select “Generate Questions”** Let the AI do its thing! In just a few moments, you’ll see your custom questions appear—complete with Correct and Incorrect Answer Responses for each.
6. **Review & Use Your Questions** Look over the generated questions. Remove anything that doesn’t fit. When you're ready, hit **Use Questions** to instantly add them to your assessment.
