When a user signs into your Private Labeled VT System for the first and subsequent times, it is important to greet them, and tell them what to expect from this experience. The Main Menu is the springboard to get to every major area of the VT System and these videos give the user a 30 second overview of each area, and it helps to bring the entire experience to life. These scripts are meant to be a starting point where you will want to edit them into your own voice and then record them. Talk to the camera as if you are talking directly to the User. Keep in mind these are the default panels and you are welcome to add or subtract whatever you like and even add new panels to communicate anything you want. Remember, the first one noted, the "Main Menu Message" auto plays the first time a user signs in. This is the only time it auto plays, but the Users can scroll back to it at any time on subsequent visits. This is meant to introduce yourself and tell them immediately what to do first. You can also pin different Welcome messages to different Content Roles so that you can create a unique experience for each User type. The Media Library is a tool that will automatically upload and encode your video files for you, and can be done in bulk. Once you put a video in your Media Library, you can use, and reuse it as many times as you like for any video type in the VT System (Courseware, Carousel Panels, etc.). Please see [this article](/docs/media-library) for more detailed information about the Media Library and the various encoding specs that it utilizes. The Media Library will let you upload up to 100 files at a time in bulk, and the individual file size can be up to 5 GB. **Question:** What format and resolution should my source videos be? **Answer:** To be frank, as long as it is indeed “a video,” then the Media Library will encode it for you; However – **we recommend** the following specifications for the best results. | **Frame Rate** | 29.97 fps is the most common and what we recommend | | --- | --- | | **Codec** | H.264 is the most common and what we recommend | | **File Type** | MOV or MP4 are the most common and what we recommend | | **Bit Rate** | ~6 Mbps is the most common and what we recommend | **Note****Are you going to provide your videos to the LSVT Team to drop in?** - You can provide us downloadable links from a service, such as: Google Drive, Dropbox, Youtube, Vimeo, etc. - Or you can send them to us via popular file sending services, such as: WeTransfer, Hightail, etc. ## Interactive Studio If you’re creating Interactive Videos and plan on using the built in Question & Button Overlay options, we recommend using these visual guides to help you better frame the onscreen talent, prior to export/uploading your videos.
